Von Anhalt, 69-year-old was walking into a bank when a car drove from the underground parking lot and hit it.
The doctors tried to determine whether he also suffered a broken bone in his foot, the spokesman told Reuters.
The driver was arrested by police Beverly Hills.
Von Anhalt said he would not file charges. "He just wanted to go home and hang with his wife," said the spokesman.
